  3. About Panasonic MPEG1 Encoder Plug-In for Adobe Premiere5.x

  5. This software is the Plug-In software for Adobe Premiere5.x which covers
  6. full specification of MPEG1 encoding capability featured our original encoding
  7. engine developed by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.,Ltd..

  10.   1. Encode high resolution video data
  11.     (up to 1024X1024 but must be multiples of 16)
  12.   2. 3 choices of Quantizer Matrix for image types
  13.      (Default(Live video), CG/Cartoon, MPEG1 Standard)
  14.   3. Variety of filters to enhance its image quality
  15.     Noise Reduction(improve an input image quality)
  16.     Smoothing Video Filter(improve an MPEG image quality)
  17.   4. Wide data rate for encoding from 600k to 15Mbps

  48.   1. Confirm you installed Premiere5.x correctly before installing this software.
  49.   2. Run "mpegpie.exe"(Product Version) or "umpegpie.exe"(Update Version).
  50.   3. The installer starts automatically, then folow the dialogs.
  51.   4. After starting Premiere5.x, check the list box of "File Type"/"General Settings"
  52.      in "Export Movie Settings" panel. If "Panasonic MPEG1 Encoder" was found among them,
  53.      its installation finished correctly.

  55. [Limitations of this version]
  56.   1. Encoding failure may occur in case of encoding a high resolution video
  57.      with a low data rate setting.
